Serving the Tallahassee community for more than 10 years, Paul Shapiro works tirelessly to obtain full, fair, and just compensation for his clients. Shapiro has represented clients in personal injury, wrongful death, product defect, and complex civil cases throughout the State of Florida. Shapiro has represented clients as far South as Miami, as far Northwest as Pensacola, and as far Northeast as Jacksonville; although most of the clients cases are from Leon, Gadsden, Wakulla, and Jefferson counties, as well as the surrounding Big Bend area.

Along with his dedication to serving injured clients, Shapiro is an active member of several organizations, including the Florida Bar (www.flabar.org), Tallahassee Bar (www.tallahasseebar.org), and American Bar (www.abanet.org) associations. Shapiro is also a member of trial lawyer bar associations, such as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (www.atla.org) and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers (www.aftl.org), which constantly are battling insurance companies and large corporations in Tallahassee and Washington, D.C. These trial lawyer bar organizations are dedicated to preserving the rights of citizens on both the State and National levels. This is particularly true with respect to fighting against unjust caps on damages to the injured in civil cases.

Shapiro graduated from Stetson University where he received both his undergraduate (92) and law school (95) degrees. Stetson University College of Law (www.law.stetson.edu), Florida’s first law school, has long been nationally recognized as one of the top schools in the country with respect to its trial advocacy programs. Shapiro had the privilege of interning with a Federal District Court Judge while attending Stetson and received top marks from the judge for his internship work. Shapiro also clerked for several prominant law firms in the St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay area while attending law school. Shapiro was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1995.

Shapiro recognizes the importance of family and strong family values. Shapiro spends most of his free time with his wife and three young children.

Shapiro is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, as well as the State of Florida court system.
